Lexington Forum May 6th
Kentucky Criminal Justice Forum
We cannot do this alone; we need your help.
We are going to host a series of community forums which bring together formerly-incarcerated or otherwise justice-involved people with criminal justice professionals and state and local legislators. We hope to hear from people whose voices are seldom heard in policy discussions. We will invite people who have been involved with or affected by the criminal justice system, as well as legislators and criminal justice professionals.
In addition to direct conversations with legislators, we will also use the forums as an opportunity to collect data on the concerns and ideas of those affected by the justice system in these areas: Entry/Diversion programs, Sentencing Reform, Access to Healthcare, and Reentry. Our plan is to make this data available to state and local legislators to inform ongoing work to improve our justice system.
Our first three forums are finished, you can view our findings by clicking ‘View Our Reports’ above.
